BTS 'Arirang' Tops Billboard 200

BTS's 'Arirang' leads the Billboard 200, tops global charts, and sells out a world tour.

The group's 5th album, 'Arirang', dominates major weekly charts worldwide.

Hanteo Chart reported on the 30th that 'Arirang' topped the weekly world and album charts from March 23-29. Released on the 20th, it led the charts by the 3rd week of March, staying at number one for two weeks.

Billboard noted on the 30th that 'Arirang' reached the top of the 'Billboard 200' (April 4). It entered with 641,000 units, the best group album performance since unit tracking began in December 2014, with 532,000 in pure sales, setting a decade-high record.

BTS also led global charts, topping Spotify's 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' for March 20-26. The title track 'SWIM' was number one globally, with all 14 album tracks in the top 30.

'SWIM' topped Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' from March 20-28 and March 23-29, respectively. Every track remains popular, showcasing global fan support.


 

BTS will hold the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at Goyang Sports Complex on April 9, 11, and 12. In October, they will perform in South American stadiums, including Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 shows, including in Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, have sold out, proving their massive appeal.
